Comments:  I have worked on this for years, exploring old gravesites and the way different cultures, friends and families attend to and adorn or abandon these icons representing our loved ones. Some discoveries call out with bright-saturated colors from artificial floras, other accoutrements for the after world, and some are quietly decaying with no visitors or maintenance. I find these places bring out personal reflection and renewed energy after each visit that I feel is a common thread in the human condition.
